Good health depends on many thingsIn order to be at our best we need to have a balance and to support our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual selves. What do you do to create balance in your life?

“You are what you eat” is not just a saying, it’s true. Your cells are created and fueled with the raw material you feed yourself. What you put into your body is what fuels your body.
Drink plenty of pure water, but not with your meal. Drinking with your meal will just dilute your digestive juices and slow down your digestion.
How you feel when you eat also plays an important role in your digestion and assimilation of nutrients. Take the time to chew and savour your food. Your body will thank you.
The amount of oxygen and exercise you get also affects your digestion so if you’re not getting exercise start thinking about how you could integrate this into your life. Take walks and get to appreciate your neighborhood; the scenery, the flora and the people.
And don’t forget to get plenty of rest. Your body needs this time to catch up and rejuvenate.
